What is the reason for making a website about defunct ropeways? There are many websites about ropeways on the internet; therefore I have decided to make a website about closed ropeways. Old ropeways are often very interesting. Most old ropeways have been removed because they are unprofitable or they have been replaced by another lift. Additionally old ropeways have fascinating technology and the majority of the technology is visible. This website is to remind us of all of the masterpieces of ropeways in the past. About the website in general: I've written the entire website with scripts, I have used the programming languages PHP, HTML and Cascading Style Sheets.
